This website is very helpful for finding Go Clubs nearby or for general Go resources.

KGS website (Online Go)

KGS is a good site both for Go equipment and information on learning go. In addition it provides a sophisticated free server on which to play go with people all over the world. There are normally around 400 players of various skill levels in 'The English Room' for speakers of english. However, the KGS server has rooms with Accomodation for speakers of most major languages.
